Many airlines and hotels are supporting the disaster relief efforts by the American Red Cross and other organizations in the aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti by encouraging members to donate cash, miles and points.
Through March 31, 2010, American Airlines AAdvantage is giving 250 bonus miles to members who donate a minimum of $50 to the Red Cross. Donate $100 and earn 500 miles. Members can earn a one-time bonus up to 500 miles. Make your donation online and forward your receipt to ReliefMiles@aa.com to receive the bonus.
Aeroplan members can donate miles to the Canadian Red Cross and Medecins Sans Frontieres.
Alaska Mileage Plan
Mileage Plan member contributions to the Alaska Airlines Charity Miles Pool will be used to support charities involved with the relief effort in Haiti.
Donate miles to Americares or the American Red Cross with Continental OnePass.
Donate a minimum of 1,000 miles to the American Red Cross with Delta SkyMiles.
United Mileage Plus
The United Airlines Foundation will match up to a total of $50,000 to the American Red Cross in cash donations made through the links provided in the link below. If you donate a minimum of $50 by March 1, 2010, United Mileage Plus will give you a one-time bonus of 500 miles. The program is committed to giving out five million bonus miles for the Haiti effort. To receive your miles, email your electronic receipt and Mileage Plus account number to email@example.com.
Mileage Plus members can donate miles to the American Red Cross, Clinton Bush Haiti Relief Fund, Operation USA or Airline Ambassadors through the Charity Miles program. These miles can be used by the American Red Cross to assist in getting aid workers to affected areas.

Donate points or make a cash donation to the American Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders, International Rescue Committee or the United Nations' Friends of the World Food Program using your American Express Card. If redeeming points, the charity of your choice will receive $10 for every 1,000 points redeemed.
Best Western Rewards
Donate Best Western Rewards points to World Vision's Haiti efforts starting at 5,000 points which is equal to $20; 20,000 points is equal to $80 given to World Vision.
Donate Choice Privileges points to the American Red Cross in 1,000-point increments. Each 1,000 points is the equivalent of a $5 donation.
Donate Hilton HHonors points to the American Red Cross in 10,000-point increments. Each 10,000 points is the equivalent of a $25 donation which goes directly to the American Red Cross. Hilton is matching dollar to dollar, up to $250,000. To donate to the Haiti Fund, request reward code RDCRHT.
IHG Priority Club Rewards
Donate 10,000 points to the American Red Cross with IHG Priority Club Rewards.
Donate $50 or more to Doctors without Borders and receive one bonus credit, which will count as one stay and one night toward earning a free night in 2010.
